 Our Classes

Ashtanga- Primary Series
For 75 minutes, we'll practice the teachings of K. Pattabhi Jois through movement, breath 
and energy. We will move through a vigorous series of postures that flows from standing poses to twists and deep forward folds. Also, exploring arm balances, backbends, and concluding with meditative pranayama.

 A great class for any yogi at any level.  We'll build and fine tune the foundation of your yoga practice.  A great place to start for beginners.
Basics & Beyond
75-minute class.  Great place to start if you're new, but also a great place to build upon the foundation you already have.  This class offers building strength and solid foundations to explore empowering (and fun!) asanas to keep the sun with us as we move into fall and winter

Buti Yoga
Buti Yoga is a powerful blend of tribal dance and primal movements, plyometrics, and vinyasa-style yoga.  Throw in some black lights, body paint, and fun music! 

That vinyasa flow that we know and love!  Experience is encouraged, as we get moving through sun salutations.  We also work on more advanced transitions and postures, and maybe an inversion or two!  We want you to move, breath and feel free to experiment. 

Gentle Flow w/ Meditation
A slow and moderately paced vinyasa flow that focuses on stretching, relaxation, and the practice of meditation. The class moves at a gentle place with modifications for all students.  All aspects of a traditional vinyasa flow are practiced in this class. This class is appropriate for students of all levels, including absolute beginners.

Mixed Levels Yoga
60 minutes to get ya warmed up, flowing & grooving into some more difficult asanas (poses).  Some experience is recommended, but mastery is definitely not necessary.  If you want to explore and experiment in your practice, this is the class to learn how to approach some deeper postures.

Slow Flow
A class that falls in between our Basics class and our Flow class.  Here, we'll be building more strength and awareness 
 a slower pace, and still making it moderately challenging.

75 minutes of yoga, minus the flow or standing postures.  We use all of the props to support us in poses that we generally hold for 3-5mins.   We hold these yummy deep poses for longer periods of time to get into the sweet spots and increase flexibility.
